C.K. Prahalad was an amazing guy. Came up with lots of ideas we use routinely, e.g. about the scope for business growth in emerging and developing economies, core competencies, etc. He passed away in 2010, but his colleagues from Ross School of Business at University of Michigan continue his work.

One of their ways to go on is to organize an annual event in the name of C.K Prahalad. Since our paper on the rushed privatizations is getting close to be circulated in writing, Jan presented it the C.K. Prahalad Conference this year. Many useful discussions and valuable comments.
