Inequality and fairness of policy reforms

Did you know that there are places in Europe where one needs 3 top5 papers to keep a job? And one has 6 years to achieve that? Seriously, there are. One of them is University of Mannheim. But then again, they have a permanent workshop called Political Economy of Reforms, funded by DFG, which offers professor post and post-doc posts with the objective of collaborative, possibly inter-disciplinary research (economics, political science and sociology). So they run a quarterly population survey on policy-related issues, they acquire the best PhD graduates in Europe and they do fantastic research. They also organize cool events. During Inequality and Fairness of Political Reforms we discussed our paper on inequality in an OLG setting.
