Gendered (but not in a good way) labor market reforms, case of Lithuania

Preliminary results of the analysis of the effects of the recent reform of the Lithuanian labour code were presented and discussed at the NIC 2019 conference in Latvia. The conference, the 3rd ESPAnet Baltics annual meeting took place, attracting scholars working in the field of social policy analysis in the Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The talk was given during one of the session on the Social policy responses to the turbulence of the modern world. We discussed the effects of the recent reform of the Lithuanian labour code on gender differences in demand for flexible working arrangements and employment-related outcomes.
