Revealing cultural preferences
This summer at Humboldt University in Berlin we presented the results of our newest research on the use of the Vickrey-Clarke-Groves mechanism to reveal truthful preferences for cultural goods. In the study we modify the VCG scheme to see how it could be used in practice. In a field experiment we observe consumers' preferences for e-books. See preliminary results of the study in the presentation below.
