In August I took part in the EEA-ESEM 2026 Congress organised at University College Dublin. It is one of Europe's largest annual meetings of research economists, run jointly by the European Economic Association and the Econometric Society.

It was a stimulating few days: a great chance to follow current research, exchange ideas across fields, and get feedback from a wide, international audience.

I presented my paper Women in Top Corporate Positions and the Labor Share: Evidence from European Firms, which asks how more women on company boards affect the labor share of firm income. The slides are attached below.
