Nathan is a labor economist whose research combines economic theory and econometric methods to evaluate public policies.

He received his PhD in Economics from Aix-Marseille University in 2025. His doctoral research focused on the design and effects of short-time work programs. In other projects, he has studied environmental information policies, partial unemployment insurance, and Chinese industrial policy.
