Kiel Institute Summer School
Kiel Institute for the World Economy organized yearly summer schools on important topics in modern economics. This year the meeting has focused on Big Data in International Macroeconomics and Finance. The topics covered both new statistical approaches to the empirical work and exploring data with non-standard dimensions. Many distinguished researchers has presented their work, among others Stephen Hansen, Johannes Stroebel and Theresa Kuchler. The summer school also provided opportunity to discuss the empirical strategy pursued in my study of measuring effects of introducing the program Rodzina 500 Plus on female labor supply.
